  • It’s Been So Long

It’s been 6 months since I’ve….. well, (will I) I’ll catch up someday???

Today it is hot and I’m sitting in my office under the AC.  –  My son (Ted) is here and his family.  I like it when they come. His daughter made breakfast this morning, they grow up so fast. It seems like only yesterday she was a toddler trying to catch the sea gulls when we were out at the coast. — This next week we hope to down on the coast again with my son (Ben) and his family. My daughter and her family will be there too. Plans are to go up the Rogue River in a Jet boat on one of the days. — Another daughter (Gwen) is coming to visit for 10 days in the month of Aug. — My life is full and God is so good He never fails me.

This last year has been full of doctors and hospitals, but I was never alone.  I can’t say I never felt alone but I know God was always near and for that I thank Him.  — the year was full of company also — We celabrated our 50th anniversary in October.  the children all got together for a family reunion, I think that was the happiest time I’ve had for years.

Well life is calling to me and I got get busy, I hope I get here later. before 6 more months.

As I grow older the simple things of life become even more important.

  • Hi There!  It has truly been a very long time!  I was wondering what had happened to you. : )

Yes, time goes on and the simple things are truly the things we most enjoy, it is sad seeing people as they mature into grandparents and beyond who are still wrapped up into the materialistic things of the world…and neglecting those things of eternity.

Bless you!  So glad to see you around!  : )

  • Good to hear from you again.

  • It was so good to hear from you again.  I think of you often — even though we’ve never met. That’s what families do, though, isn’t it? And we have the same Father and Brother, so that makes us family.  We will meet one day. Until then, keep trusting!

  • It was so good to hear from you again, Virginia.  I think of you often, and pray for you and Pop.  It’s so comforting to have your family around, isn’t it?  We’re going out to CA for our grandson’s wedding in August.  I’m sure I’ll think of you as we travel along the coast.  God Bless!

  • I guess there is no such thing as hiding on the internet I figured I’d been gone so long that by now all the people would be gone.  I was surprised and delighted when I seen each of your comments.  You made my day. A great big thanks to each one of you. since I like to make a lesson out of everyday happenings, the lesson I get from this is a person better keep their witness for Christ, up to date at all times because you never know who might be watching.

  • You may have been gone for six months .. but you have not been forgotten.  I almost made it down your way in May .. but alas we decided to take a short trip by driving the Selkirk loop through No. Idaho, British Columbia, and Eastern Washington.  Very beautiful sights along the way.  I just found a distant cousin over in Ketchum so may drive south yet.  Keep in touch.

  • Good to hear from you! I have been praying for you and I am glad to hear all is well. You are a blessing to all of here in Xanga-land!

    Blessings!
