THANKS VONDA
Wouldn't you say I now have a pretty wedblog? My Granddaughter did it for me. Wouldn't you say I have a pretty nice granddaughter ? I think so. But why does the younger generation have so many of the computer brains. It's a real generation gap. I always wondered what a generation gap was, now I think I know.
BTW as soon as I get brave again I shall post some more wedding stories. I've been in photography 18 years and look at all the stories you had to read. Well I was in the wedding business 30 years, so be prepared
On a different note. .... Please pray for Papa Dearest, he is sick and he hasn't been to a doctor in over 30 years and he doesn't want to break his record. Why are men so stubborn?.....Although, I'm glad he was stubborn enough to stay with me, (and make his marriage work) for, almost 49 years.
Of course I was stubborn, too. lolBUT THE MERCY OF THE LORD IS FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING UPON THEM THAT FEAR HIM, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS UNTO CHILDREN'S CHILDREN. PSALM 103:17

Very beautiful!
I would LOVE to hear about your wedding follies. Post some photos when you get a chance. I dabble in photography too but probably won't take the wedding plunge. That scares me to death!!! Just knowing you are taking pictures of someone elses special day is enough for me.
Your cakes are beautiful too! You should try rolled fondant. It's really easy and covers a lot of icing problems. I have a hard time icing with buttercream to get the flawless finish I want. Fondant is a lot like playing with clay. I use cookie cutters and glitter to get the look I'm looking for. I don't remember the last time I made a rose from buttercream. I like the fondant ones though.
I'm hoping to someday take a fondant flower making class. That all facinates me.
Have a wonderful day!
Penni
Your layout is beautiful! Hope your hubby gets better soon....they sure can be stubborn about going to the doc! God bless!
Wow, your website looks wonderful. Send Vonda my way please
Is pop still sick from the peanut butter? Prayers lifted up now for him. As always, your stories are wonderful ... keep posting.
pretty layout....looks exactly like you! =) it would be kinda hard to go to the doc and break that record...on the other hand you might want to remind him that if he dies over it it's the end of the record anyway????? not to be morbid or anything! =)
Lets see, you baked the cake, did the flowers, and took the pictures. You didn't do the ceremony, did you? Or did Pop do that?
PYC: I'd love to be your neighbor, but I don't think my husband would want to live that far north. Do you want to move south?
Penni we worked with fondant a lot. We did huge cakes in fondant and your right it does give a wonderful smooth finish. Too bad mom doesnt live closer she could give you lessons on making the fondant flowers. It really isnt all that hard. Its just a knack I suppose. We never tried the glitter on the fondant that I know of. that sounds pretty.
Mom I recieved the package of covered wagon postcards you made from the wagon crossing pics Pop took. They're gorgeous. I have three kids across the US waiting on them now. The End Of The Oregon Trail museum really could use those. You could just take something else out of one of your slots there and put the covered wagons in.
