TODAY
I guess an update is well overdue.
Altough today was an ordinary day, it was enjoyable. We started out by going to a neighbors yard sale. You have to that you know in order to be neighborly.

I spent $2.00. Just to be neighborly you know, and Pop spent $3.00. That was kinda fun, therefore we went to another yard sale. At the next yard sale, Pop found an oak medicine cabinet for $20.00 and I found a pretty vase for 10 cents after that we went on and on till the day was well spent. (you notice who spends the money)
We took our loot home and then we were hungry. We have it kinda handy for eating. Although I love Chinese Food, the resturant we have here is too greasy for me. but Pop just loves it. The eating places are so close together that just across the parking lot from the Chinese place there is a Taco Time. Well Pop don't like south of the border food so it works just great. Pop parks in the middle and he goes to the Chinese place and I go to Taco Time. Today as we parked, he looked at me and says in all seriousness, "I guess this is where you and I part ways" I laughed, but I had to think of couples that say those words and really do part ways, breaking hearts, while we are so secure in our love that we can joke about it .
The main differance is Christ and commitment. I'm so glad there are three people involved in our marriage. Christ, Pop and I.
For tired Moms with babies........ I read today that if you spell "diaper" backwords, you get "repaid."
Sunday we are invited to my son's for Mothers Day. I haven't decided yet what Pop's going to get me. I want some flowers and a tree. I think that would make a nice gift, don't you.
I thank God for these beautiful spring days we are having. I almost forgot how it feels to feel good. The sun is like medicine.

I notice you left us with the 10 cents you spent . How did it go after that? : )
It's midnight, why aren't you in bed?
To have your marriage secure in the Lord is a true blessing. A strand of three is hard to break ... I always like to think about Him as being the glue holding my dh and myself together. I can't believe I'm still up ... must catch some winks. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a message. Have a wonderful Mother's Day ... hope you buy something you like from Pop for your special day
Thank you for stopping by and adding more to the story. It touched my heart and that is always a wonderful way to start a morning. I love your site and am subscribing!
Greetings! My grandma was a bit overbearing at times, (just ask grandpa). I know her intentions were right, even though he methods were wrong.
Blessings!
I LOVE YARD SALES....HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
Sounds like a delightful day to me--we spent the day at the zoo w/ mom,Deb,Ramona and Dan,Betty and Bob, Leland and Angie, Ramona's son Bobby and his wife Melissa and their 3 kids plus 2 more, and Dans daughter Kimmie and boyfriend--was fun, exhausting and a bit troublesome to keep that many people together!!! Happy Mothers day!!!
Happy Auntie's Day!
